  • 1.  corrupted virus definitions present on the SEPM prevent the SEPM's ability to update the SEP clients with new virus definitions

    I upgraded SEPM version 11.0.7101.1056 to version 12.1.2015.2015 two month ago. since I had four or five times problem that discribed at this Article:

    Why this happening may be anybody know?

    Did you check the log.liveupdate file?

    yes, I did. Definitions loaded to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveUpdate\Downloads. but in the window SEPM I see this:

    20.11.2013, 4:25:51 GMT -> EVENT - SESSION END SUCCESSFUL EVENT - The LiveUpdate session ran in Silent Mode. LiveUpdate found 15 updates available, of which 15 were installed and 0 failed to install.  The LiveUpdate session exited with a return code of 1800, Óñïåøíî

     Also Please upload c:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection  Manager\tomcat\logs\sesmlu.log

    Please try this

    Hi,

    If possible could you attach log.liveupdate and Server activity logs to the thread.

    Does it work If you tried to update SEPM manually?
