I ma not sure I understand how continous backup on NTFS volumes works when backing up Lotus Notes databases. The database changes with every mail received or sent. How many versions of the database I should expect as a result of granular backup on every change?

On the other hand, if I decide to configure LN database backup in a way that forces n versions per day or per hour, how would it compete for a give disk quota with the rest of the files being backed up?
