Count of Users with Admin Rights Reporting Incorrect Information.

Hello,

Using Altiris 6.0.6074.  I ran a report which provided details of what users had Admin rights on thier local PC's, using the information gleaned from this report we then deployed a script to remove admin rights from those users who should not have it (using Deployment Solution 6.5).  Random manual checks have confirmed that the script deployed worked fine.  This all started on 21/10/2009.

I have re-executed the report today, and I cannot see any difference in the report output, it still lists computers that I know have had these permissions removed.  I would have thought that 14 days was more then enough for the inventory agent to update the data?  If indeed this report uses data provided by the Inventory Agent.

How do I know what report uses what agent data collection process and how do I know what the default schedules are for the various collection methods, is there for example a document which provides this information (rather then hunting through documentation for each of the different agents)?

More importantly does anybody know why the report is still reporting on out of date data collected?

Thanks.

Gary Hall.

What's the schedule for your "Re-create full Inventory"?
You might try running that just to see if it will change one of your workstations.

If it does I'd add the line that executes to the end of your Script that removes the rights.
