How do I remove Ghost client licenses if they are not connected to the network and can't communicate to the console? If I re-image a machine with the client installed with another image that has the client in it and name the machine the same 'name' will it still use the same license or consume another one?

Also, when I create a task to refresh configuration and info/inventory it doesn't copy any files or settings does it? It just polls what type of hardware/software correct?

    Hi Jace,

If the clients are not connected to the Console, deleting the machine will free up the license.

If you re-image the machine using a different image, even if the Computer name is different, it will use the same machine account in Console since Console uses MAC or UUID to identify the client. When you run a refresh task (or if you include the refresh in the clone task) it will update the Computer name in Console to new one.

Refresh Configuration and Refresh Inventory tasks are information gathering tasks. They do not alter the Client configuration or settings.
