CPS 12.5 Indexing Service Stops Unexpectedly

This issue has been solved. See solution.
I'm having a problem with our CPS indexing service. Every time I attempt to start the service, it immediately crashes with Event ID 7034. I'm thinking that perhaps the previous indexing database is corrupted. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to resolve this?
