Crash and lost database

Our server crashed but we have the tape backups for the week.  Unfortunatly our image of the drive is 20 days old.  We had to restore from the image and would like to now update all the files with the tapes.  The was restore via the image to January 4th.  How can we load all the more current tape drive catalogs and restore from them to update?  I've run inventory etc. and get a lost connection to the database messaage.

Do post the exact error messages and exactly what you tried to do with your tapes.  You should  inventory and then catalog them before you can restore from them.

This could also mean that the restored BEDB is bad. Go to the BE installation directory and use BEUtility to repair the BEDB.

If the BEDB repair does not work, go to Program Install/Uninstall and repair BE itself
