My company purchased the Ghost Solution Suite 2.5 with Ghost 11.5 and the DeployCenter 5.7.  This was purchased by an admin that has left the company before he could instruct us on the uses of this program.  Since I am the only one that has had any experience with any Symantec program(Ghost used soley for imaging) I was picked to be the one to try and figure this out.  I have a server already setup with the Console installed and I can image PC's locally to the server through the use of a switch.  I'm needing assitance getting it so I can push updates or re-image remotely and if possible push images to PC's not on the network.

check out the Symantec e-library subscription.  They have online courses for many Symnatec products including basic courses for CMS/Altiris/Ghost products.

    Hi there!

This article is a good start for using Ghost Solution Suite 2.5:

How to get started in Ghost Solution Suite 2.5 with Boot Disks and the Ghostcast Server

That being said, I would recommend upgrading to Ghost Solution Suite 3 in the near future. Good luck!

If I were the one that made the purchase decisions I would upgrade, but alas I don't.  Thank you Randall Newnham.

After reading that article, it really didn't help much.  I am able to use Ghostcast and create images and push them locally.  I am having trouble using the Console and seeing new machines that I have installed the client on.  I am also wanting to know if I have the capibility of pushing an image to a PC on a seperate network.

    Thank you for the Help.
