Creat 1600 GUP again

Is these any way by which i can creat 1600 GUPS in 1600 diff group...........i need to recreat my DB.......

Please help

dont think It wouldt be possible again
I think you need to create them again ) hard way but have to create again .,if you have your DB backup things all gonna be the same.

If you are running version

If you are running version RU5 of SEP, you can make this happen a little bit easier. With RU5 you can specify different criteria as to what can make a GUP. One example would be to specify a registry key that needs to be present on the device you want to use as a GUP. 

Once you push out the registry key to the devices, you update your policy to recognize that as a GUP to all your endpoints.

At next check in, the clients should take in that new policy and because there are multiple GUPs now specified, it will associate with a GUP on the same subnet.

Something worth testing to see if it works in your environment, provided you do not have a back up of your database.

Things are EASY with File Sharing....... It makes easy for Viruses also...!!

 In RU5 you can set Criteria

 In RU5 you can set Criteria Based GUPs with one Policy you can handle all the GUPs.
The GUPs should be either in the same group or sub group but the sub group should be inheriting policy from parent group.
