Create B2D folder by IP

Hi,
Is it possible to create a B2D folder by IP (e.g. \\ipaddress\share ?
It certainly appears to be possible in 9.x, but when I try it in 10d, it tells me that '.' is an invalid character.

Hello,
Are you trying to create the folder on a NAS device?
Could you please create a new B2D folder on some other machine in the network to isolate the issue?

if it is telling him that "." (that is the period in the address) is an invalid character, what good will giving it a different IP address do?
This problem has been reported before and never answered. It is definitely a bug, so report it to the developers and let's get it fixed
