I am trying to save an image of windows2003 on DS 6.9 it is showing current status as Sending Wake on Lan Signal only... and on client side status: connecting to server.... It stuck there only.

Try stopping then starting
Try stopping then starting the eXpress service on the DS box. I have the same problem every once in awhile. In my situation I think it has to do with latency issues because my DB is off box.

not sure if my last one posted --- I occasionally have to reboot the altiris server if this happens. although it is rare, it does sometimes happen...
