    Hello All,

     

    I am sturggling to on DS 7.6 while capturing the Image on Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 OS.

    Error I am getting is "Exception has occured in function SMPPackage.cpp() at Line No 233. Type of exception is GeneralError. Error is callDSPSInfoOperationService()have failed. Return XML is =. Error from HttpGet = The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted. Error Description is  "util::CSMPPackage::callDSPSInfoOperationService". Value of Windows error code = 6 and message is " The handle is invalid"

     

    Please revert asap if anyone has idea about this error.

    Hi rajeshm_81,

    Could you provide us Pcagent and Ghost logs in X:\Program Files\Symantec\Deployment\ while in winPE?

    They will show us what is happening.

    Looks like from log above, that you need to check if your NBS/NS IIS certificate is configured correctly. Check also for permissions, make sure app credential has Read/Write permissions in NBS Package Server folder configured (if your NBS is not configured in NS).

    Hello Rafel,

    We are not using NBS service for PXE boot.

    We are using automation folder for the WinPE enviromnet installed on Client machine.

    Also NBS service is not installed on site server.

    Hi Rajesh,

    NBS services are needed on Notification Server/Site Server in order to accomplish image creation/deployment.
