    I'm looking for some information about what is state below, any help is appericated.

    We currently have an infrastructre based around Symantec System Center 10.1.7 and Symantec AV 10.2.3.3000, We would like to create a policy to scan network drives when accessed. This policy we would like to only effect a certain group of users can anyone provide insight into this.

    you need to create client groups ; 

    then assign this policy to those groups
