  • 1.  Create quarantine incident not working in SBG 9.0

    I had some content policies which create incidents for approval in Symantec Brightmail Gateway 8 before. 
    After upgrading to 9.0, those policies are not working as expected anymore. 

    During the upgrade, my old incident folder was converted as a quarantine folder, and the actions in the policies are updated as "Create quarantine incident".
    But in fact it's created as informational incidents in the default "Informational Incidents" folder and the mail is delivered normally instead of being held for approval.

    I've tried to create another "quarantine folder" and a new policy. And it still create "informational incidents".

    Anybody helps?

    And the new policy says Create an quarantine Incident and you selected the quarantine folder you previously created?

    I tried to select the quarantine folder which was migrated in, and also the newly created one. 
    Both of them are not working, and the compliance violated email is put in "Informational Incidents".

    I wonder what would happen if I delete the "Information Incidents" folder, but I am not sure if it's good thing to do because currently it's holding a lot of emails.

    I just created a new "inbound and outbound" policy to test this problem. Every policy violating mail should be held in quarantine folder.

    Outbound: working as expected.
    Inbound: mail delivered normally, and recorded in Informational Incidents folder.

    Any idea?
