This issue has been solved. See solution.

I need to find out how many of our Windows XP machines have SP3 installed.   What Global Paramaters do I select in my Report to extact just Service Pack 3?  And is there an existing report that comes close to this?

I am not a SQL tech so any detailed info would be great.

This is built-in

  • I would use the Count of Operating System, Version, and Service Pack by Computer Report (Assets and Inventory > Inventory > Windows > Software/Applications > Operating System)
  • Click Run this report
  • Click Refresh
  • Double-click a particular OS, Version, and Service Pack to see the computers in that group.

Did you know you can search reports for keywords (like Service Pack) by clicking the search button while viewing the Reports area of the NS console?
