The way i want my packages configured is very basic.  I want a 32 & 64 bit Clients package and a 32 & 64 bit Servers package.  The only difference in the packages is that the group entry in the SyLink.xml in the clients package points to the Clients group and the group entry in the SyLink.xml for the Servers package points to the Servers group.  I do not seem to be able to do this though.  From a clean install of RU5 I ran the migrate & deploy wizard to create each group and create the packages under C:\SEP Packages: then Clients & Servers respectively.  The packages are created under the correct path but they do not appear in the Admin, Install Packages, Client Packges list or as packages attached to the two created groups under the Clients tab.  The only packages listed are the two default ones that were created on install. Am I missing something here, is this by design or is there something else that needs to be done?  I've tried exporting them but that just creates the package under another folder and it still does not appear in the SEP management console.

By exporting the [package you wont see the package in admin -install package or under your groups.

    for that
go to admin-install packages-select Upgrade groups with package" select the right package (32 or 64 ) -next select the right group-next...finish
    it will then appear on

    Client-Groups-Install package.

This is only to upgrade in order to install these packages you will have to use Migration and Deployment wizard to push those exported package (C:\SEP Packages)  to the computer. After the fist install you can easily upgrade the SEP clients using upgrade groups with package
    feature

Thanks for taking the time.  I'm just trying to get my head round how the packages setup works.  It's the assignation of clients to the clients group and servers to the servers group that was stumping me, but i see from that document link you put in that you assign the group in the policy settings section of the export client install package feature.  Thanks for your help.
