Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

We want to create a development NS for testing configurations etc. With other development servers we have such as saleslogix we just create a copy of the production database and create another sql link and just choose the database we want to log onto. Does anyone know of a way to do this without having to build out a second box and reinstalling all of the altiris software? For some reason I dont think this is possible.

Although you could do something similar by redirecting the Altiris software to a new database, all your clients would start posting data to that database. The only way to build a development box would be to put it on a new box (or better yet a VM) and go from there.
