Hi , i have recently did a installation of CCSVM manager console on a Windows Server 2008. i'm trying out the various functionalities of the products but i'm pretty unclear about 2 areas, Policies creation and creation of Dynamic Assets on CCSVM. i understand that i would require the Asset Discovery connection to be added and would require the addition of FQDN . i currently have a few esx-i machine that can be used for testing but all of them are simply set with only IPaddress. is it required to set FQDNs on the exs -i machines or is it able to add the Dymanic asset connection with just IP address? what else would i require to Dymanic Assets on CCSVM, regardlsss of which VM platform i is not?
