Does anyone have a script or sql method you're using to create groups? I'd like to tie this in with a workflow process but I haven't I still need to get this portion worked out. I came across this forum post but it looks like it was closed/locked and the script was never made available. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't see anything specific for creating groups. Was there anything in there specific to that?

Mithuns link to the multitude of SQL queries will not have what you are looking for.

Creating a group uses multiple GUIDs and creates various references about applied / inherited policies and parent / child location. This is not something I would want to attempt to do directly with SQL. If Symatec gave you the SQL, maybe, but an API is a better solution. Besides, generally the vendor does not take kindly to you editing the DB directly.

I sugest you send hemu from the other thread a private message when looking at his profile.
