  • 1.  Creating an image IBM xSeries 346 RAID 5 Configuration

    Has anyone ever successfully created an image IBM xSeries 346 RAID 5 Configuration?

    System Information:
    IBM xSeries 346, IBM ServeRAID 7k Controller
    Broadcom 57xx NIC

    Ghost hang when I selected the disk to be imaged.

    Yes, although I havent imaged one in a while, I have been able to create images on several older and new IBM xSeries servers. Can you provide a little more info on your setup?
    - Ghost version?
    - What method and process r u using to ghost? USB key, boot disks, etc

    I've fought IBM quite a bit to get images to and from them. It's not easy but I have been able to keep up with them...lucky maybe.

    Here is more information.

    -Ghost version?
    Tried Ghost 8.3 and 11.0. Tried both version.

    - What method and process r u using to ghost? USB key, boot disks, etc
    Using Boot Disks.
