    This doc says to delete some registry files when building your base image... Under CurrentVersion, I do have a registry key that is a random number, and deleted that, created image, deployed but then on deployed machine PCAnywhere wouldn't launch because "pcaNSHost.BHF File is not a Valid pcAnywhere file"

    I have a support ticket in but so far no luck finding out actually how you're supposed to put the latest secure version of PCanywhere into your image.

    Has anyone recreated their base image with the latest PCanywhere client installed on it?  Did you just leave the registry file there and deploy that way?  We use CMS 7.1 and am fully patched up to latest in SIM for everything.

    <<When you image a pcAnywhere computer (physical or virtual), Symantec recommends that you delete the private key, certificate, and local encryption registry key files found in the following locations:

    • 64-bit : HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Symantec\pcAnywhere\ CurrentVersion\{HASH.EN_US}
    • 32-bit : HKLM\Software\Symantec\pcAnywhere\CurrentVersion\{HASH.EN_US}

    When you deploy new images or clones, these values will be re-established the first time pcAnywhere runs.
