  • 1.  Creating a report to look for *.extention

    Posted Dec 28, 2009 03:15 PM

I had a request from a department that wanted to utilize the SEP11 scanning to detect if a machine is running a certain extention.  What would I need to do in order to get this done?  I would like to create a report that sends her a list of all the workstations that are running *.extention is this possible?

    Thanks!

    Hi Bishop,

Please elaborate a bit more on what exactly is it that you are looking for.

I don't think you can create a report  of all the workstations that are running *.extention

But you can defintly bolck *.extension from running  and then you can get a list of machine that are trying to run that extension

I think the best way here is pickup the list of applications running in the clients and do a modification in the excel accordingly
Below do will help you for setting it up
