This issue has been solved. See solution.
Hello Symantec community!
Ii'm an assistant network admin, and we use Symantec Endpoint for our AV protection. The network administrator wants nice weekly digest delivered automatically to his inbox. Is there a way to configure such a thing in Endpoint 12.1? The reports a) are sent as attachments and b) can only display one piece of information at a time.
Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks!

Hello,
To view the daily status report
However to Email the Weekly Report to your Administrator, Symantec has already by default created "Administrator Daily Summary Report" and "Exexutive Weekly Summary Report" under Reports >> Scheduled Reports.
You could either Add a new, Edit an Existing Report OR Edit its Filter as per your Requirements.
Secondly, check these Articles for creating your Custom Weekly Report.:

Thank ya'll so much! You'd think after several hours of playing with the software, I would have seen that. Testing now, the report should show up shortly. Thanks!
So question: Is there anyway for these to NOT be sent as attachments? That is really the jist of the issue. We need the report to actually be contained within the body of the email.
Hello,
Unfortunately it could not be changed. This is hardcorded within SEPM.
Check this Article:

Hope that helps!!

I am affraid you won't be able to change that - by design the raport is sent as attachement. Cannot chaneg it to the body of the email.
