NDMP is the container used to transfer the data, but the format of the data is usually vendor-specific. You should call NetApp and ask them if it is possible.

Checked with both the supports, confirmed as negative... does we have any other workarounds.

I dont think there would be any workaround either..  
This is what I would do.. Try to do a test restore.. see the error that it gives, look through the logs and try to figure out if I can do some tests and find a workaround..

good one, but what i was refering is will i able to restore a data backed up from EMC cellera datamover using Veritas NetBackup to NetApp filer. 

if the doc provided has something to do with that please explain.
