CRRuntime Merge Module Error

I am getting the following Merge Module Error when adding the CRRuntime_2_2 merge module to my deployment.
Error is : Table Merge problem in table 'Directory' for row 'INSTALLDIR'
Am I doing somethign wrong?

You need to look at your existing project and the MSM in Orca or any other editor, and check the directory table for any conflicts in the definition of INSTALLDIR.
The implication of your error message is that the INSTALLDIR entry of the merge module is defined differently to INSTALLDIR in your project and the two settings cannot be merged successfully.
