    Symantec is detected as Trojan.Cryptolocker.

    You can upgrade the latest signature to clean it.

    In addition to AV, are you running IPS, firewall, download insight and SONAR?

    These are all added layers of security

    Just to stress point #3: be sure to always keep all of your definitions up to date!  Protection against the latest variants in circulation is constantly added.
