    Hello Zenworksb,

Currently the management console only runs on Windows platforms, however new to SCSP 5.2.4 is the web enabled console. Any browser (IE prefered) now can access to the “console.” The CSP Console is basically a proprietary browser itself running via a java applet on the tomcat backend (csp management server). All the features you see in the proprietary browser (“the CSP Console”) is available via the web enabled version of SCSP in version 5.2.4.

I have used this in Ubuntu with Firefox very well.

thank you for the response. I see you can use this as a web enabled but the console still needs to be installed on windows?

The Console does not need to be installed on Windows. The web enablement is part of the SCSP management server. If you go to the %CSP install directory%\program files\Critical System Protection\Server you will notice Ajaxswing directory and WebConsole directories. Ajaxswing is a package from Creamtec that enables .jar files to become available via the web in the form of html/"ajax" (reminder not to edit any of those files).
