  • 1.  Cubes in IT Analytics - How can I add fields

    Hello,

       To try a different avenue with reporting in ServiceDesk 7.1 SP2, Symantec suggested to us the use of IT Analytics.   I have custom fields I created in the ServiceDeskIncidentManagement table (through the documented process) and I need to pull them in to these reports.   TThe ITA docs are not very helpful on creating or modifying a cube.   Any help, I would appreciate it. 

      Oh, SMC 7.1 SP2

    Hi Jamie Brown,

    "IT Analytics has the ability to use custom data classes and resources in cubes, however, this involves complex additions to the cubes in the Microsoft SQL Server. Because of this, Symantec Technical Support is unable to assist customers with this process. Please contact Consulting Services for assistance with this"

    Thank you.   This has been kind of upsetting that they add a product from Microsoft and then throw it back at Microsoft for support and how tos.
