    I need help on how to create a custom attribute on a computer resource, for example I would like to a text attribute to an endpoint, so that when i create a report there would be a field that would show the text. By the way we dont own Asset Management

    It sounds like you want a custom data class.  How you populate it depends largely what information you want to keep in the new field.  If this text value will hold some information that is gathered from the machine itself, I would create a custom inventory script.  If the information is housed in AD or some other directory, I would use the connector solution to pull it in.
