I need to send an email status report for a server that is down until patching completes. I am in Manage - Automated Policies and see "Send automated patch report email failure". I created a new automated policy hoping to do the following;
1. Schedule my patch rollout and regardless of whether there is a success or failure, send an email to a specific email address so they can turn on certain applications.
2. Attach a patch execution report of the bulletins that were executed.
I was thinking to clone the "patch failure" report in automated policies and convert it to a success or failure...or even a success report but I need specific guidance. Any help?
