Washington DC Endpoint Management User Group

I have created a bunch of right click jobs but I can only run that from one machine at a time. Is there a way to run these jobs against a selection of computers at the same time instead of one at a time?

Use filters... :)

I know you can use filters from the task itself. I want a way to highlight a buch of computers in say the new silverlight console and then right click them and run this custom task.

Thats the problem, the custom tasks do not show if you select more than one.

From the Computers view under manage, use the shift and the ctrl key like you would in an explorer window to highlight the needed machines, right click one and select scheduled task and then select your task.

If you're already doing this and you're wanting the item to show up in that menu I think you should look at Settings->Console->Right click actions  Anything you add here will show up under "user defined."

Yea i just looked at that myself and it looks like selecting multiple machines does not show the user defined folder. This may be a post for the ideas section...

You could try adding one under settings->notification server->right click menu
