Hi, I'm experiencing serious issues when trying to replicate customized security roles between Notification Servers.
I have 2 environements, one for TEST/DEV and one for PROD.
I've configured everything in the TEST/DEV environment, created my customized Data Classes, Resource Associations and Resource Types and granted or restricted access to those elements creating customized security roles.
At the Go Live transition, when trying to migrate security roles an everything else to production environment, we've found several issues on the replication of the different elements, but what gave us the whorst headache was the security roles problem.
It seems, that if your security roles is impacting any of the customized elemnts (Data classes or Resource Types) the security role replication is truncated and only the role definition is migrated, but not any of the definitions within the role itself (Menus, RT permissions, specific DC permissons, Reports, etc)
I've tested creating a role without any specific permission over customized elemnts and replications takes place adequately, but not if the role is related with customized stuff.
I've tested exporting/importing with XML from within the NS.
I've tested exporting/importing with XML with the importexport tool. (notificationserver/bin/tools)
I've even tested the migration wizard without any success.
Any ideas or workaround this issue? (Beside doing it manually...)
We've reached the point in considering it for a BUG.
