I am currently doing inventory for my company and I am looking to streamline my operations by using custom templates on our scan gun. We only need to record some of the information that is offered by Management Platform and having the ability to enter in the data all on one screen will really help me out. The thing is that I am unable find a way to save the data that I enter from the custom template. The only menu buttons I can find are new, edit, and view. Is there a way to save the data and circumvent the default entry forms? There doesn't appear to be anything in the official Symantec literature on the subject, all it does is cover the creation process, not implementation.
