  • 1.  Customize the Resource Summary page in the Resource Manager

    I was wondering if there was a way to add sections to the Resource Summary page in the Resource Manager and/or in the Activity Center.  I'd like to add the warranty information for our computers. I also have some custom data classes set up that would be nice to show without having to dive into a report or the resouce manager to see.  Not sure if this is possible or not, just wishful thinking.

    Some of this is slipping into the product Asset Management which will manage warranty and a whole stack of other things. In terms of editing the webpage, it's not something I would ever envisage, everything is possible, but isn't designed to be very editable, only the portal page and webparts and they handle fixed chunks.

    If I was to do what you were doing without consultancy I would set up a set of SQL reports that display what i was looking for and look at a way of simply displaying them outside of the console. I wrote an Autoit form that tied a computer to a location that was a custom inventory item then displayed it on screen. Excel was also a useful output.

    If you can write Autoit I'd be happy to share my code with you if you PM me, it might give you some ideas.
