We asked about this several years ago and the response was that it was not offically supported to modify the "Resource Summary" page. There also doesn't seem to be any "easy" way to add your own Summary node to that tab. What we ended up doing was creating a custom .aspx page that was a drill-down from a report that would show the information you wanted, by passing the ResourceGuid for the machine to the report, which then runs various queries to pull the information you want and format it using CSS.
