  • 1.  Dagent failed to connect

    Hi,

    we have a new install of DS 6.9 SP6.

    On this server we cannot add new clients. The remote install finishes flawlessly. However the agent (Dagent on Windows 7) cannot connect to the DS. On the DS there is no process listening to port 402.

    Are we missing a service or process and how can we resolve this?

    The axengine should be listening on that poet, so check that tge DS services are running. Also, ensure that the port isnt being blocked by a firewall or other device.

    Is the Dagent showing any message if you open up the GUI interface? Also, do you have more than 3 clients on the DS console with a trial license or an exipred license? If that's the case, you want to apply a regular license (right-click machine -> Advanced -> Apply Regular License) and see if this makes a difference?
