Dagent remote control issues

I'm having problems remote controling a computer that is running the dagent. If someone is not an admin the dagent will not show up in the systray. The computer shows up in the deployment console and we are able to send software to it. For whatever reason not showing up in the systray affects our ability to remote control the computer. If you grant the user administrator rights everything works like a champ. I tried granting all users full rights to the C:\Program Files\Altiris folder but that doesn't do anything. You can go into the folder and it still says that the user doesn't have rights to run anything. I am running DS 6.9 SP3 and all the computers are running windows xp. We are not seeing this problem with the computers that are running aclient, just our newer computers that we install the dagent on.

Works on Vista 64bit

I have just tested this issue against Vista 64bit, and have found that yes, if the user isn't an admin the system tray icon is not shown, however, the machine can still be remote controlled.

I haven't tried this on XP yet, sorry.

SK.
