  • 1.  DAgent: Unable to connect with DAgent for status updates

    I just started working and i was asked if i could take a look at their GSS that wasn't working. The person that was supose to set it up didn't do it correctly and it has been dormant for some time. So i am giving it a try, but the DAgant is unable to connect. It shows up in the DS console, but i can't do anything with it. As i don't realy know all that much about GSS and has only been working with it for the past 3 days it might just be me not understanding anything at all. But, after looking around and gathering information i think it has something to do with the license? "No license slot available". So, can I fix this and if so, how?

    On the GSS console go to Help > About IIRC. That should tell you the licence status.

    All i can see from that is that i have 0 of 10 clients. Doesn't seem to be any other relevant information. When a new agent is connected it shows up in the console, but it is show as offline and says that the "license expires in 30 days".

    Looks like the installation may be a trial version and no actual licenses have been installed. Are you able to check and see if any actual licenses were purchased or whether this was just an evaluation install?

    You may be right. I'll try downloading the files again and do a reinstall(and make sure i do it right) and see if that is of any help.
