    Hello,

I am cureous how to add the Agent Group Configuration during the DCS agent installation so that it registers to the correct group. I have attempted this and it does not work and the installation documentation is vague.

For example: Assets, Prevention - Policy, Windows, Servers, SSR, Basic group. What would I have to add into the Agent Group Configuration Prevention Policy Group (below) to get the agent into the correct group?

In the group boxes, type the group names that you created with the management console. You can add multiple detection policy group names separated by commas. You can also include the name of an existing detection policy domain in the group path or name. You need to enter Basic under Prevention Policy group based on the highlighted image.

    Thanks Pete,

    Most of that makes sense.

To clarify, in the case of the Basic group, do I have to add a path to Prevention Policy Group, or can I just put Basic?

You're going to have to enter the full path as you could have multiple subgroups names 'basic'...
