Data overwrite

Hi,
Scenario : My data is in two tape tape1 100% full, tape2 few data is there. Now my second tape has been over written, which contain the catalog too, However, my tape1 is safe.
Now would like to restore the data, but i am not able to generate the catalog.
When i select view by resorce and i can able to see the structure as i am having the xml and FH file in catalog directory.
Kindly suggest to restore data which is in tape 1.

From the BE yellow button,
From the BE yellow button, choose Configuration & settings & then choose backup exec settings...from catalog section, uncheck the option ~ storage based catalogs...inventory & catalog the tape again..

so you can see the files/folder in the restore selections ...do you receive any error when trying to select or restore then ?
