    Currently we have 1 CSP Server whish still using SQL 2000, and we will try to migrate this SQL version from 200 to 2008. but i'm still searching the guide.

    Kindly need a help for answering this question,

    Q : We are using CSP 5.2.4 with SQL 2000, it is posible if we change the database to become SQL 2008?

    Q : Does this SQL 2008 supporting on CSP 5.2.4?

    Please give me the best practice/Knowlege Base for this Database Migration

    Moving the SCSP database is not a trivial task . . . you need to gather the "master" database logins from the instance, along with the actual database.  When moving the database, it is highly suggested that you keep the old database online, in case any issues arise and you need to revert back to the old one.  

    When moving the database, the agents will not be able to send their events to the manager -- however this should not be an issue, as the agents will hold their events and send them to the manager when communication to the server is restored.
