Database Repair - Clears AD Import Settings - Affects Associations

We have had to do a database repair a couple of times now due to issues in our SMP 7.1 environment.  The last time we did a database repair, all of the AD import settings were wiped out.  Easy enough to set them back up, but once we started importing data from AD again,  ALL of the asset related associations were wiped out.  These are all manually set and we had to set them all back up again by hand.

 

Well, we have had to do a database repair again to get inventory data to successfully update.   And the AD imports have once again been wiped out.  Does anyone have any ideas on how we can preserve the associations when we turn the AD imports on again?  It is a lot of work for the asset admin to set these all back up again, particularly for non-agent devices like monitors, desk phones, etc.

what happens if you create the rule instead of modifying the existing rule?  I'm thinking it might leave your created AD import rule because it is not seen as the default rule the system created.
