Daylight savings
Updated: 22 May 2010 | 6 comments
This issue has been solved. See solution.
All my scheduled jobs on BE12 have missed their time window since daylight savings this past weekend.
The time on both the backup server and the client servers are correct.
Anyone know the fix?
(My older versions of Backup Exec are running fine...stil upgrading)

If you read the Doc it says
If you read the Doc it says there are NO known issues with BE12.0, which is what I am using. Plus, I can't stop the services right now because I am running the super critical jobs that missed last night!

Thanks for the updated Doc
Thanks for the link to the right Doc. I hope they get a hotfix for this before the next time change. I find it odd that they had a hotfix for 11d but didn't program one in for 12. Seems like an oversight to me!

Not sure that's fixed it
We only had our clocks change in the UK this weekend and when I came in on Monday morning, all my backups on BE 12.5 were listed as "Missed". However, they have all showed up as Missed again on Tuesday and again today, so clearly it is not just first-run backups that are failing.
I've had to manually run backups during the day (much to the annoyance of my users) because I can't risk going three days without any backups and with no long term fix in sight. Any ideas?
