    Can we delete *.tmp file from Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\inbox\agentinfo folder for Ex.

     1d3c856c-813a-4f40-8feb-3b9789ae08ec.tmp

    Kindly Suggest

    Hello,

    What version of SEP are you carrying?? Make sure you are carrying the Latest version of Symantec Endpoint Protection.

    Yes, you can delete the .tmp files.

    Follow the Steps provided below:

    1. Stop Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager service from services.msc
    2. Delete accumulated .tmp files in all folders
    3. Start Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager service from services.msc

    Hi,

    Why do you want to manually delete those files ?

    Is it consuming lots of space ?

    Ideally SEP should take care itself.

    What is your SEP version ?

    Totally agree with Chetan, You may want to check the version and upgrade if required.
