Hello

We have two machines one back up the other and I need to synchronize DB2 between them.

I need to do that because if one appliance get down I want to see all the incidents on the second ssim.

i think its not fully if you only backup the db2 , events of ssim save by two modes, database and archives.

Hi,

I think that you need to enable Event or Incident Forwarding.
Look into SSIM Client -> System -> Appliance Configurations, you will find there incident forwarding rules and event forwarding rules. For example, you can configure event forwarding rule which forward gathered events to another SSIM, those events will be correlated there in similar way to local SSIM, so then you will have the same incidents on both managers.

Antilles

Hi

Yes incident forwarding is an not an option because in that case I will not have the history of incident (tickets & incident history) in case of failover.

Is there a way to replicate db2 maybe through linux, maybe IBM has an awnser to that.

Maybe some one done it before?

Thanks,

Pavel
