seen this issue

This issue has been seen and reported to support. When the file gets over/near 2gig it causes this issue. I am not sure if its an issue with how BDC is creating the ISO or if its a limitation of linux when loading in memory it hangs on a 2gig file.

hope that helps.

Hi,

If I use the same DVD on another workstation (HP xw6600) it works without any problems ...

Simple question

Do you have enough RAM in the failing system to correctly load the entire boot system? How does the working HP system compare with your failing system in terms of hardware specification?

If your issue has been solved, please use the "Mark as Solution" link on the most relevant thread.

Memory

Hi,

In the 6600 there is 4GB in the 7900 only 2GB, shouldn't this be enough to load the Linux or does it load everything in the memory including the image ?

Thanks for the response !!!
