    Hi,

    I have the Symantec Endpoint Encryption & want to eanbale the debug mode can have any idea how to do enable.

    Windows 2003 enterprise sp2

    Hi Tamboli,

    This is the way to enable debug logging in the Symantec Endpoint Encryption (SEE) client, follow the steps below:

    • Edit the following registry key
      [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Encryption Anywhere\Framework]
      "DebugLevel"=dword:00000005
    • Restart the "EAFRCliManager" service from the Windows Services MMC snapin
    • Debug log files will now be saved to the following folder:
      C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Encryption Clients\TechLogs
    • Zip up the TechLogs directory and provide to support for analysis.
