    Would you like to update PGP, but I have the system partition encrypted.
     
    I need to decrypt and uninstall the old version to update it or not it is necessary?

    You should be able to just run the current install file - in the process of updating, it will tell you it is uninstalling the old version, but the encrypted disk/partition will not be a problem and will retain its encryption.

    I want to upgrade my version but was afraid of something going wrong. Now I'm more relaxed.
