Decrypt all PGP Desktop encrypted emails in a users mailbox

    Hi,

I have a user who needs PGP Desktop removed from their workstation. The user has been using PGP Desktop Email for some time now and they've accumulated a substantial number of encrypted emails in their mailbox. The user is being migrated to PGP Universal Gateway Email and no longer requires encrypted emails in their mailbox.

Is there a simple way to decrypt all the PGP encrypted emails in the users mailbox or will they need to decrypt each email individually using PGP Viewer?? This seems like a potentially long and painful operation.

The user has PGP Desktop 10.2.1 installed on a Windows XP 2003 machine (they will be upgrading to Windows 7 in the very near future).

If we're talking thousands and in many folders, I would put this client into CSKM and keep private key on his machine, or SKM and move his private key to the server, his email should still be able to be decrypted, just at the server instead of the client (if in SKM)

But if its just a few hundred, I think you can bulk decrypt via the PGP viewer, just select multiple emails and drag them all onto the viewer at the same time, and itll process them in-turn.
