1) I have a abc.txt and encrypted as abc.txt.pgp and sent to vendor

2) somehow i did not keep abc.txt

3) I need to decrypt the file abc.txt.pgp to check something, can I do that?

Only if you also encrypted it to your key.

FYI there is a preference file option encryptToSelf.  By default it is false, but you can set it to true and all messages encrypted to someone else are also encrypted to your key.

There is also an "alwaysEncryptToKeys" option where you can provide specific recipient key IDs to always add as recipients.
