I have BE11d 6235. I have full backups that i duplicate to tape. I encrypt the duplicate copy to tape ( Not the BKF. ) As you know the duplicate is virtually RAW data. I do this on about 70 servers. I have successful restored encrypted duplicates. 1 server during the restore of its D: drive or S: drive ( ill assume C: as well ), i get the v-79-57344-3857 errors, where certain files cant decrypt, then the restore fails. This Does not happen on any other restores that i have tested ( at least 20 ). The remote agent is the same as it is on the other servers, and the policy(s) are no different, and no compression is done. The only difference betweem that server and the others, is the name.
